Never trust any company that pops up on your PC stating you need your computer repaired. The only time to trust the fact that you need computer repair is when an actual local shop looks at your PC. These pop ups are becoming more and more common, stating they are from large well known companies including but not limited to: Dell, Microsoft, Bitdefender, etc. They will state they are genuine and that you need to allow them access to your PC so they can “fix” it. They will then ask for money. If you say no, they can potentially lock you out of your own computer and wipe all of your data. If you say yes, then they will take your money and still can do harm to your PC. This is 100% not genuine.
