Windows 11 has recently been released to specific PC’s. The look and feel of Windows has changed immensely from Windows 10. Windows 11 gives the user way more options on customizing every aspect of their PC. The sleek new design is definitely an upgrade along with its new features. The upgraded Voice Dictation option is a plus. It now allows for auto punctuation when using the feature. There are a lot of new options via shortcuts that make working on 11 easier. The new option of multiple desktops makes it easy to switch between work and play quickly and efficiently. To quickly open a new desktop, use the Windows icon + CNTL + D. The new snap layout option in Windows 11 is an upgrade from 10 as well. Now you can customize your windows using the snap feature (Windows icon + Z) utilizing all of the screen space with all of your windows open. There are new app options in 11. There is a fully upgraded widgets option that you can customize to your preference. You can select widgets like weather, news, etc to show personalized news articles to your liking. You open the widgets menu using Windows icon + W. There are also so many options to customize everything from your windows, desktops, themes, etc. The new built in Windows Security is a nice feature, but would not suggest only utilizing that program. It still is not quite strong enough for real time malware protection. The refreshed look and feel of Windows 11 is a nice change in the tech world and I am personally enjoying it so far. Windows 11 was recently released to select PC’s. Here are some features to know about. You can check your computers compatibility via Windows PC Health Check. The newer your PC, the more likely you are to have a compatible computer. The older your PC, the longer you will have to wait for the free upgrade. Microsoft will be offering Android apps in Windows 11 via Amazon Appstore in the Microsoft Store. The operating system will have a Mac like interface and look. The start menu and Taskbar will be centered like Mac. This can be changed back via settings. Windows 11 will now come equipped with Windows Security & Microsoft Defender Anti-virus. Microsoft is creating a more secure built in program in Windows 11.There will no longer be the option for Internet Explorer. As to the updates, Windows 11 feature updates will roll out only once annually. The cumulative updates will be monthly. The free upgrade of Windows 11 will continue rolling out to compatible PC’s through Mid 2022.
